HARRISON FOOD PANTRY NEEDS OUR HELP
TNPH continues to support Harrison Community Services Food Pantry throughout the year with non-perishable groceries, including summer when supplies are low. TNPH will pick up any size donation from the community and deliver to the food pantry. Corporate sponsors welcome! TNPH is currently planning a neighborhood food collection drive and seeking additional corporate support for the Pantry for the Fall and Winter holiday season. Anyone wishing to support the food pantry should call 914-835-1235. Please leave a message if you reach voice mail. We will call you back as soon as possible. (The food pantry distributes and delivers bags of food to low income Harrison families, singles and Senior Citizens. The Food Pantry also coordinates a Food and Gift-Giving Program for any Harrison residents who need assistance during the holidays.)

TNPH FLOOD RELIEF: SPONSORING A MAMARONECK FAMILY IN NEED
TNPH church members were recently approached to support a resident of Mamaroneck who lost everything in the Spring 2007 floods. The woman (along with her two daughters) lost her home to the flood, leaving with her purse and a box of dishes. Church members Vito and Linda Faga, in the spirit of giving and excellence, opened their home for shopping, providing available needed home furnishings for a new residence. Additional home goods items from a wish list were provided by Pastor Homer and Jennifer Ferreyra. Anyone wishing to provide additional support to this family should call 914-835-1235. Praise the Lord! Moving on up!
Over the next month month of August 2007, TNPH is planning a move from our second floor suite at 219 Harrison Ave, to a street level storefront at the same location, which will be 217 Harrison Ave in Harrison. (across from the fire house) A new sign, designed by a local artist, will be presented for approval before the Town of Harrison on August 15. The sign is currently planned to be 10' long x 2' wide. TNPH is part of the ICFM family
We are pleased to announce that TNPH is part of the ICFM (International Convention of Faith Ministers and Ministries) family. From its birth in 1979, IFMG has ministered to those who are called to "hold forth, contend for and propagate the word of faith worldwide." To date hundreds of pounds of food has been picked up and delivered to those in need in Harrison, New Rochelle and the surrounding area through personal and corporate sponsorship as well as speciality food store donations. In addition, corporate sponsors have donated sweatshirts, tooth brushes, leather and nylon bags. Individuals have donated new leather purses, new clothing, magazines and much more! 100% of all donations go to families in need. Anyone wishing to provide additional support to this ministry in the form of food, financial or other support should call 914-835-1235
It's Great to Live in Harrison Day
October 29, 2007 was It's Great to Live in Harrison Day and we once again were in Reiss Park in Harrison from 8 to 4, with the Prayer Station, handing out free Christian material and praying for anyone who wished to receive. TNPH also raised funds for the Harrison Food Pantry by selling bottled water and taking cash donations. 100% of the profits went to the Harrison Food Pantry.
